Helene & Suse Jank
Helene Jank is a Percussionist and Percussion Teacher from Germany/ Berlin resident in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. From an early age she follows a Classical Music Education studying Piano, Music Theory, Voice and Drums.
Marcable for her professional life as a musician and teacher was a music educational one year stay in Salvador/ Brazil in 2005. In Bahia she was part of different local Samba and MPB Bands and was studying with Nei Sacramento, Itamar Lima a.o. In later years she studied various styles of voice and percussion in Brazil, Cuba, Peru, Spain and Germany. Since 2007 she is studying Latin Percussion at the Conservatory in Rotterdam and plays with several Latin-, Fusion-, Salsa- & Samba Projects in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. In 2010 she toured with the Music Theater “The Beatles- Here, There and Everywhere” through the Netherlands. Helene is Co-founder of the World Music Factory and has given Percussion lessons and Workshops in Germany, China, Brazil, Peru, Chile and the Netherlands.
